Our group therapy sessions offer a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through. Led by caring professionals, each group focuses on building practical skills, sharing experiences, and supporting one another in a respectful, judgment-free environment. Whether you’re working through challenges or looking to grow, you’ll find encouragement, connection, and tools to help you move forward.
All groups are held at our Clearwater Center and are open to current Directions for Living clients. If you are interested in joining one of the groups below, ask your Directions for Living provider for more information on how to enroll.

Seeking Safety
Mondays 5pm – 6pm
This group offers compassionate support for individuals navigating trauma and substance use. Through meaningful conversation and skill-building, you’ll explore topics like healthy relationships, coping with triggers, self-care, and finding purpose.

Anger Management
Mondays 6pm – 7pm
This group helps you recognize triggers, break the cycle of anger, and build healthier ways to respond. Using practical tools like cognitive behavioral techniques and assertiveness skills, you’ll gain confidence in expressing yourself while staying grounded and in control.

Seeking Safety
(Spanish-Speaking)
Tuesdays 5pm – 6pm
Facilitated by a Spanish-speaking clinician, this group offers compassionate support for individuals navigating trauma and substance use. Through meaningful conversation and skill-building, you’ll explore topics like healthy relationships, coping with triggers, self-care, and finding purpose.

Women’s Peer Support
Wednesdays 11am – 12pm
A welcoming space for women to connect, share, and feel understood. This group focuses on encouragement, self-care, and building healthy relationships, while exploring topics that support healing and personal growth.

Relapse Prevention
Fridays 10am – 11am
This group focuses on strengthening the skills that support long-term recovery and stability, including communication, decision-making, self-awareness, and resilience. You’ll leave each session with practical tools to help you navigate challenges and stay on track.
